Reservations

To request a reservation for public, private and home schools, please complete the required online Lesson Request Form.  You will receive a confirmation letter outlining the details of your lesson, including pre-visit materials, within two weeks of your request.

Fee Schedule & Payment Information

The fee for a Guided School Program lesson is based on the number of Field Groups you will need. 

There is a 60 student maximum per half day or 3 hour visit.

* PLEASE NOTE:  For Marvelous Maples, Field Groups consist of 12 students and 2 chaperones for $50 per group.

Schools will be invoiced after the visit.  However, you may bring your payment on the day of the visit, though you will not receive a receipt until invoice process is completed.

Reimbursement Funding

We encourage schools to seek funding for the trips through their own PTA/PTO or another reimbursement grant programs, such a BOCES Arts in Education and Exploratory Enrichment Program. Verify with your school district regarding BOCES requirements, your district’s membership and reimbursement rate.

Note that for Fall 2024 funding, the NY Connect-Kids-to-Parks Field Trip Grant Program is currently paused.  Please check their site often for updates.

Limited funds for fall 2024 are available through a Friends of Five Rivers scholarship.  You may download the form here.
